The Porsche 911 Turbo has long been the benchmark of road car engineering and performance. This ‘996’ variant of the 911 has wowed sportscar fanatics all over the world, not only on the road, but also on the track. The classic 911 shape harks back to the early 356 VW based designs of Dr Ferdinand Porsche, and has become one of the design and style icons of the 20th century.

Hotworks have faithfully reproduced the car in 1:18th scale including details such as the huge drilled brake discs and Porsche logo brake calipers, Turbo rear spoiler and ‘candy’ orange paintwork. The engine cover opens to reveal the famous 911 ‘flat’ 6 turbocharged engine, whilst both doors open to show the interior with recaro seats and even a Sat-Nav dashpanel! The bonnet also opens. If all that were not enough, Hotworks have spoilt you further with the ability to adjust the tyre track width, raise or lower the ride height, steer the front wheels and even adjust the wheel camber! Pretty trick eh?

Tech Art are a famous german tuning company that have produced some very special modified Porsches over the years. They have wowed the motoring press with examples that have held the lap record for a road car around the infamous Nurburgring ‘Nordschliefe’ 14 mile circuit. Their GT Street car can do 0-100kmh (0-62mph) in 4.1secs, 0-300kmh in 31.9s and tops out at 334kmh!!

The Hotworks conversion comprises of new front bumper inc splitter, rear bumper with vents, rear engine cover with much bigger race rear wing, a pair of race seats with harnesses, side skirts, huge Tech Art race wheels, carbon brakes and Tech Art calipers, tuned engine with twin turbos and race spec exhaust system and a few other interior tuning parts.

Bilstein are the legendary German shock absorber manufacturer, making shocks for car manufacturers to fit as std equipment and an entire range of aftermarket and competition dampers for road, race and rallying. In fact Bilsteins are still considered to be ‘de rigeur’ by many competition car preparation companies. They are used on single seater racing cars, through Le Mans, NASCAR, Off road racers and rally cars with great success.
